Wisconsin theater group Barron Spotlighters is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 Maxine Wiesner Scholarships. These scholarships exist to help graduating high school students as they move onto college. The funds for these scholarships come from the generous donations by attendees of Barron Spotlighters performances at intermissions.

This year the Barron Spotlighters are pleased to be able to award two scholarships to deserving high school seniors. The first recipient of a $500 scholarship is Lana Blumer. Lana has appeared in several Barron Spotlighters performances as well as helped in other capacities. She will be attending UW-Madison this fall. The second recipient of a $250 scholarship is Madeline Mickelson. Madeline has been involved in several plays and musicals. She will also be attending UW-Stevens Point this fall.
