Barron Spotlighters Makes Donation To Barron Food Pantry
The Barron Spotlighters theater group was happy to provide funds to the Barron Food Pantry in the amount of $600. As part of their Christmas show “A Christmas Carol”, the Spotlighters donated $1 from every ticket sold for the show’s run.
“The show’s director, Beth Halverson, developed this idea to partner with the Barron Food Pantry,” explains Darren Kirby, Communications Director with the Barron Spotlighters. “One of many important messages from ‘A Christmas Carol’ is to be kind and generous to others, and we wanted to spread the generosity that we experience from the community and give back to those who are in need.”
The Barron Spotlighters have two more main shows in their 2023-2024 theater season: “The Play That Goes Wrong” with show dates the last two weekends in February, and the musical “Sugar” with show dates the 2nd and 3rd weekends in April.
