Barron Spotlighters Theater Group Announces “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Tickets Now On Sale
The Barron Spotlighters theater group announces that tickets for their second production of the season, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, are now on sale through their website: www.barronspotlighters.org. Tickets are $16 each for any of the six shows on January 27-29 or February 3-5.
“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” is a well-known drama that won a Tony award for Best Play in 1963, as well as Best Actor and Best Actress Tony’s in the same year. It was adapted into a movie in 1966 starring Elizabeth Taylor as Martha. The play provides a wealth of tension, both between the couples on stage as well as between the actors and the audience. It is a great study in the psychology of relationships of all kinds.
Attendees are warned that this play contains adult themes and language. All performances will be held at the Barron Area Community Center. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30pm, and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30pm. Box office opens 30 minutes before show time.
