The Barron Spotlighters will be having their annual awards banquet on July 20 at the Anderson Park Pavillion. Members of the public are invited to attend with things starting at 5pm with a general meet and greet with the opportunity for raffle prizes as well as drinks. Dinner will be served at 6pm followed by a brief Spotlighters board meeting at 7pm. Then at 7:30pm the awards ceremony takes place where awards are given from this past season’s shows. Suggested donation for dinner is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under, with those under 5 years of age free.
The 2022-2023 season included the following shows: The Odd Couple, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and All Shook Up. The cast and crew from each show had a great time putting them on and hopes that the public can join them to celebrate another successful season. “Everyone puts in a lot of time and energy to get these shows put together,” explained Darren Kirby, Communications Director for the Barron Spotlighers. “This is a chance to recognize their accomplishments, celebrate a successful season, and look forward to the next season’s shows.”
Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP with the Barron Spotlighters so that they have a head count for food and beverages.
