Barron Spotlighters Announce Next Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner
The Barron Spotlighters theater group is holding their next interactive murder mystery dinner at the Barron VFW: Murder at the Cherry Creek Saloon. There are two dates for this event: Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10. The December 9 event begins at 6pm and the December 10 event begins at 11:30am. This interactive murder mystery is set in the 1850s during the California gold rush and is centered on a small town in Colorado. Tickets are $40 per person and include a full meal with available cash bar. Tickets can only be purchased through the Barron Spotlighters website: www.barronspotlighters.org/current-season.
The year is 1857 and the Wild West of legend is in full swing. Lively piano music sets the scene for an evening of fun, beer, and a tense card game at a table near the piano. With the pot growing and players on edge, all seems fine. But then, an accusation of cheating against one of the players causes Jeb Lyman to overturn the table in his fury, and an all-out saloon brawl ensues! When the dust settles, a body is found beneath the rubble – the body of Jeb Lyman, one of the players at the cards table.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their old west costumes. Prizes will drawn for the best man and woman in costume, as well as for those who guess the murderer correctly. All tickets can only be purchased through the Barron Spotlighters website: www.barronspotlighters.org/current-season.
